Tour Description: Enter into a landscape that has inspired artists on this walking tour in Iroquois Park with Certified Tour Guide Denise Davis. Choose between the Thursday 6/27 tour featuring an uphill hike on natural trails, or the easier, more accessible Saturday 6/29 tour on flat, paved paths. Either way, you'll explore areas around the recently-renovated Northern Overlook, discuss the powerful draw of nature and its effects on us and the environment, and learn what it takes to restore, enhance and forever protect such magnificence in our midst.
Tour Notes: Dress for warm weather, wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a water bottle and meet 5-10 minutes prior to tour start. Feel free to bring a walking stick. Leashed dogs and children accompanied by an adult are welcome. Please note there are no bathroom facilities available on this tour.
